A word from our Administrative Coordinator Elmer Turner I am Elmer Turner, the Executive Assistant to the Director and the Administrative Coordinator of the East Cleveland Public Library. I have worked in this position for almost a decade. Before coming to this library, I honed my skills in a large local library system and in corporate America. Given my experiences in various capacities, I get to utilize the knowledge I gained from those experiences and apply it to my work here. It gives me a great sense of satisfaction to see how all the work we do behind the scenes positively affects the staff and community. The East Cleveland Public Library is the heart of this community. It represents who we were, who we are and who we will be in the future. I feel a great sense of responsibility in knowing this is a 100 + year old resource that we have been entrusted with and we must continue to cultivate it so that it will last at least another 100 years. When I am not working, I enjoy all things related to technology and research. I am grateful to be surrounded by such a dynamic team of like-minded people, who are up for the challenge and have the same “make it happen” attitude that I do. If you would like to make a donation to the library, you may do so with the QR Code. Thank you!
