Hello, my name is Stephanie Chambliss, and I proudly serve as the Deputy Fiscal Officer of Finance and the Assistant to Ross Cockfield at the East Cleveland Public Library. In my role, I wear many hats, each contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of our library. One of my primary responsibilities is to ensure that all of our vendors are paid accurately and on time, maintaining strong, reliable relationships that support our library’s daily functions. I also manage the ordering of all necessary supplies to keep our staff well-equipped and our services running seamlessly. Additionally, I am a certified passport agent and a notary, providing essential services that benefit both our patrons and the community at large. My main objective is to ensure that we manage the library’s funds responsibly and efficiently, avoiding waste while maximizing the impact of every dollar spent. I am deeply committed to aligning our financial practices with the library’s mission statement, ensuring that every decision we make enhances the experience of our patrons. My dedication is rooted in a strong belief in the library’s value to the community, and I am passionate about contributing to its growth and sustainability for many years to come. Beyond my administrative duties, I am also known for my hospitality. I genuinely enjoy serving our patrons, especially during public events, where I have the opportunity to connect with the community on a personal level. It brings me great joy to contribute to the welcoming, inclusive environment that defines our library. I look forward to continuing to serve at future events and to supporting the library’s mission in every way I can.
