Dear East Cleveland Residents:
Case Western Reserve University will be offering first doses of two of the approved Covid-19 vaccines to any Ohio resident over the age of 16 or 18 (depending on the vaccine) on Friday and Saturday of this week.
· Moderna doses are available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 9. Recipients must be at least 18 years of age.
· Pfizer doses are available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, April 10. Recipients must be at least 16 years of age.

The vaccines are administered in the track area of the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center at 2138 Adelbert Road. Parking in the adjacent garage (Lot 53) is free for people receiving vaccines.

The East Cleveland Concerned Pastors for Progress are partnering with the
City of East Cleveland, the Mayor’s office and City Council, the East Cleveland Public
Library and the East Cleveland Board of Education to insure that all of our people receive the
Covid-19 vaccine along with their friends and family members. FEMA is scheduled to come
to our City to register those individuals who need this life-saving vaccine.
Also, Covid-19 test kits available at East Cleveland Public Library.
WHO:
Currently, you must be age 40 or older to receive the vaccine.
Beginning March 29, those aged 16 and up will be able to receive the vaccine.
TRANSPORTATION:
We have a limited supply of bus passes to and from the Wolstein Center (2000 Prospect Avenue)
on the day of your appointment, if necessary. Passes are available at East Cleveland Public Library.

From the country’s oldest African American producing theatre, comes an evening of music, spoken word, dance and conversation. In celebration of Black History Month, Karamu House has partnered with the East Cleveland Public Library to stream the performance, Freedom on Juneteenth, for the entire month of February.
