The East Cleveland Public Library is a great place to get excited about learning! It is also the place where children ages birth to twelve can experience new adventures. The attractive and colorful location invites children to explore and get lost in learning. Ultimately, the Library’s goal is to provide a great space for learning, education, and entertainment through creative programs for children.

Along with the computer lab, the Children’s Department also boasts a Storytime Room and regular access to the Lower Auditorium for the Summer Lunch Program and the Kids’ Cafe, which takes place during the school year.

ECPL offers an exciting partnership with The Literacy Cooperative and Dolly Parton Imagination Library, enabling East Cleveland children, aged birth to five, to receive a free book every month in the mail at home. Parents and guardians can sign up in the Children’s Room, at the Circulation Desk, or upstairs in the AV department or the computer lab. Return completed forms to an ECPL staff member, and look for the first book in the mail in 6-8 weeks!
