Lower Auditorium is on the lower level adjacent to the Children’s Department. It is a newly renovated space with a stage, podium, a/v setup and more. It is perfect for meetings, presentations, and smaller performances.

The Performing Arts Center was built in 2005, and named in honor of former library director, Greg Reese. With a seating capacity of 248, the Library has hosted renowned artists such as Evelyn Wright, Robert Lockwood, Jr., Vanessa Rubin, the Jazz Heritage Orchestra, and countless other performers. Incorporating state-of-the-art audiovisual platforms, the Center is the crown jewel of East Cleveland Public Library.

It is located on the main floor of the library. Enter the main entrance and continue left past the front circulation desk, continue walking and the destination is on your left. (Hint: If you reach the elevators, you have walked too far.)
