Invitation to Bid


Notice is hereby given that the East Cleveland Public Library will accept sealed bids for the replacement of a flat roof section on the rear of the Library’s original Carnegie building at its Main Library. As such, the removal of existing roofing material down to the structural concrete decking and installation of new Firestone Poly ISO insulation and Firestore Rubber Gard  60 mil EPDM membrane single-ply roof system shall constitute the basis of the work. 

The Fiscal Officer on behalf of the Executive Director and the Board of Trustees of the East Cleveland Public Library will receive bids until 12:15 PM, current and local time on May 16, 2022, at the East Cleveland Public Library, 14101 Euclid Avenue, East Cleveland, Ohio 44112.  Certified mail submissions should be sent to: East Cleveland Public Library, 14101 Euclid Avenue, East Cleveland, Ohio 44112, ATTN: Ross Cockfield, Fiscal Officer, and received no later than the date and time specified above. 

All bids shall be opened and read aloud on May 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Buildings and Grounds Committee.  All interested parties are invited to attend. 

Interested contractors should contact the Facilities Supervisor, Mr. Rick Cooper at the East Cleveland Public Library at 216-541-4128 for a set of contract documents and for scheduling a site visit.  The project site will be available for inspection between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
